On May 10, 2019, about 1105 Coordinated Universal time, a JM Kemp RT13B, South African registry ZU-FUO, was destroyed when it impacted a ridge north of the Mountain View Lodge Airport, near the town of Mookgopong, Limpopo Province, South Africa. The pilot and passenger received fatal injuries. According to information provided by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA), the pilot and passenger took off from Volksrust airfield, Mpumalanga Province.
